Skyscraper Of The Future

Introduction

A skyscraper is a tall, continuously habitable building having multiple floors. A sky scraper now
a days has at least 40–50 floors. Mostly designed for office, commercial and residential uses,
a skyscraper can also be called a high-rise, but the term "skyscraper" is often used for
buildings higher than 100 m (328 ft). For buildings above a height of 300 m (984 ft), the term
"supertall" can be used, while skyscrapers reaching beyond 600 m (1,969 ft) are classified as
"megatall".

Buildings and infrastructure confront different risks and take on new responsibilities in an era
where sea level rise and storm surges influence habitation at the waters’s edge.

Innovative building solution using new technology to provide old benefits .Skyscraper designed to
give its occupants the best possible environment, one that anticipates modification over time to keep
it relevant for future use.

Rational

The project will give an opportunity to explore to different topics and vertical housing and
vertical vegetation and combing the two to achieve sustainable design.

Aim

Use of passive technology, modern building techniques, green energy techniques to achieve

flexible climate responsive structure.

Housing for the future need:As the migration of rural population increases to urban corridors
the need for more houses increases.

With the current population of India at 1.3billion and assumed to cross 2 billion in the near
future.

It becomes important to stack houses vertically to avoid over exploitation of land and cut down
of vegetation.

Hence the aim is to combine verticality with vegetation.

Objectives

1. To Achieve zero carbon emission structure.

2. The project will aim to create luxury residential space for the users.

3. In-cooperate passive energy techniques to reduce load on mechanical systems.

4. Vertical landscaping will help create cleaner air and circulate wind movement through the
spaces also, acting as barrier against heat and impurities.

Need For The Project

It is the need of the present and future with the increasing deforestation for housing for
accommodating ever increasing migration and population growth.it is importand to built skyscrapers
which are more environmental friendly and have least impact on the nature

Scope

The project emphasized on integration of plants into skyscrapers and applying bio-climatic
design principles which play a vital role for the energy conservation by the building as well as
improving the living quality into these vertical cities.
