Panchak on the basis of panchang elements�this type of Panchak is determined on the

basis of week day, lunar tithi, Moon� nakshtra and lagna at the time of event. It
is said that for matters of ordinary importance a favorable Tarabala will do and
there is no need to consider the Panchak. But in regard to very important
ceremonies such as marriage, nuptials, entry into new houses, etc., this should be
carefully looked into. There are various method to determine this type of Panchak
here I am giving the most common method.
Add together number of lunar day, number of week day starting from Sunday, number
of nakshtra starting from Aswini and number of lagna at the time of commencement of
any event and divide the total by 9. If the remainder is
If it is 1 it is mrityu Panchak�it indicates danger,
If it is 2 it is Agni Panchak �it indicates risk from fire,
If it is 4 it is Raaj Panchak �it indicates suffering,
If it is 6 it is Chor Panchak �it indicates evil happenings and
If it is 8 it is Rog Panchak�it indicates disease.
But if remainders is 3, 5, and 7 or zero it is good. For occupation Raaj Panchak,

marriage Rog and Mrityu Panchak is particularly negative. This type of Panchak is
particularly used for time selection.
