PREFACE

Entrepreneurship is closely associated with new venture creation. The

idea of entrepreneurship as the ‘identification, evaluation and
exploitation of an opportunity’, itself suggests a focus on the early stages
of setting up a new enterprise. Are you thinking about starting your own
business some day? My goal as a motivator (and the purpose of this text) is
to help students fulfill their dreams of becoming entrepreneurs and
achieving the independence that comes with small business success. The
theme of this book revolves around creating and maintaining a
sustainable competitive advantage in a Microenterprise. Running a small
business is difficult in today’s rapidly evolving environment. At no other
time has it been so important for businesses to hold a competitive
advantage. Running a small business is like being in a race with no finish
line. You must continually strive to satisfy the changing wants and needs
of your customers. This book can help you run your best race. The writing
style is personal and conversational. I have tried to avoid excessive use of
jargon by explaining topics in simple, understandable language.

Till now you have read some of the characteristics of

entrepreneurship. “Practice makes perfect” is the motto about everything
in life and especially if you are a business owner. Bookish knowledge can
help you a lot to avoid mistakes but nothing beats the practical hands-on
experience of seeing what works for you. You may have the right passion,
the right business format and all the skills, but before you make that leap
of faith make sure you’re ready in some other aspects too. Starting the
business and making it run smoothly requires a lot of dedication and
sacrifice. This means that whether young or old, your personal life will
take some hits. It is helpful if family and friend are supportive. They must
know what it takes to start a business and the effect and impact it will
have on your life. Many of you may choose or need to have a job in the
initial days of starting a business; this means all your spare time has to go
for running the business.

Turning everyday ideas into business is what makes an ordinary

entrepreneur extraordinary. This talent or gift is what makes them
unique. Most start with very limited resources and move ahead of their
competitors through personal effort. The entrepreneur creates a vision
and pushes the company through ups and downs towards fulfilling that
vision. Becoming an entrepreneur is at the same time scary, thrilling,
worrisome, yet an exciting experience. But before you become one you
have to understand the concept of entrepreneurship first. There are many
types of entrepreneurs such as social, home based, virtual, traditional
etc.The most successful people are those who are not afraid to experiment,
learn from their past mistakes and correct them to become successful.

The purpose of this book is to introduce you, our readers and students of
entrepreneurship, to the entrepreneurial process and to explain to you, as
effectively as possible, exactly what you can do to have everything in your
life that you can possibly imagine. This book provides a thoughtful,
practical guide to the process of successfully launching and growing an
entrepreneurial venture. This Book is a compilation of great thoughts
from those who have had the courage to start and run their own business
and design their destiny.

Greetings to the general public, this latter is for the people who
are interested in making a good and better future for their self
firstly I am here as the manager of the d cash production unit
that I seriously need some worker and serious people for
partnership business. This organization is going out of
production here in Cameroon just because of some political
instability such as the problems here in Cameroon that I believe
the hold world know about the problem. These have run out
production cost in the company here in Cameroon, my main
reasons for this information is that the company has been down
for some time now but it is now functioning in the in the east of
the country where there is minerals there but this company
need a mining center in this region some that production can be
very easy for the workers there but there is also this one thing
that I will like the general public to know about and the
problem is that you have to understand that the company was
first located in the southwest of the region where the production
there was just on the explosion of raw materials such as cocoa,
rubber, coffee, timbers, white pepper and some many more of
cash crop products and as for food products for the food
processing industries, will trade of all type of food products and
finally animals production of all types all this was the
production goods in the southwest region of the country .

This organization here in Cameroon have been producing for 8

years today in Cameroon but for 4 years today but no
exportation of the company products this just because of the
ongoing problem in the region but I as an expiries businessman
with my school knowledge in business and management in the
univisetiy of Buea in management, I have see how I can take to
the boy and they have given me the right to take out me products
to somewhere around the world unto the problem is over.

I am calling on all the production companies all over the world

who are in search of raw materials for their production unit to
help me buy some of this my products so that I can export them
to them and reduces some cost of lost in the country to you all
know what it mean for a businessman to keep his products for 4
years and at the lost everything just like that dear readers of this
note and more so we all have to understand that this political
instability make some of my workers to run to somewhere in
search of securities so this have cause me some lost of workers
and also some deduction in production and I really need this
company to remain in Cameroon because my company in
Cameroon is one of the highest production company in my
organization that give me more income for more expansion in
the organization. This was the company with the highest
number of workers employed in the company with a number of
workers of about 450 to 500 workers employed in the company
due to its production output and the availabilities of it raw
materials in the region.
Like for the new employment now, I need some people good in
management, communication, public relationship, financial
assistance, store keeper, marketing, business management,
animals keeper, farm coordinator, network coordinator,
accountancies, organization inspector, securities official,
qualities adversities, information supply, and many more not to
