Professional Development Plan

(What do YOU need to work on in order to grow professionally?)
I believe that all teachers have different abilities in teaching and dealing with the students, so in my opinion, I think
that every teacher must be patient for the students. This is because each student has a different level of
understanding of the lesson and some of them need further explanation to understand the main idea of the lesson. I
Moreover, I need to plan well for my lessons with varied managing strategies and different activities to let students
learn and check their understanding of the lesson. The use of affective plenary to assess learning.
1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal):
In this lesson, I will be working on my questioning through doing the experiment and developing the
children observational and predictive skills. The use of scientific experiments is use to contextualize the
learning and learn through hands on experience.
2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used) make a list of questions at
different levels of bloom’s when lesson planning:
I will ask students varied (differentiated) questions by drawing upon (blooms taxonomy) higher order
thinking skills. Also, I will use video imagery to link their prior knowledge and draw comparisons of what
they already knew and what new knowledge they have gained.
3. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence) list of student responses, or
