§ Ran the day-to-day operations of the University of Michigan MiND lab including funding
applications, student supervision and mentoring, manuscript preparation, scheduling coordination,
study design, participant participation, and data management
§ Worked within a research framework aimed at understanding risk and resilience for psychopathology
across development using a neurogenetics approach
§ Gained managerial as well as research skills in the areas of: study design, grant writing, IRB
applications, protocol drafting, participant home visits, semi-structured clinical interviews (SCID,
KSADS), fMRI task development and implementation, collection of biological samples (hair, blood,
and saliva), and facilitation of family interaction tasks
