PERSONAL PROFILE
Inquisitive, keen to learn and entrepreneurial. Recently completed a year at Debenhams Head Office as a Trainee
Assistant Merchandiser; gaining strong numerical and analytical experience. Developing my brand knowledge,
self-confidence and interpersonal skills, as well as partaking in Excel (advanced) and systems training. I am
conscientious and hardworking with a commercial mindset; shown through my previous work experience as well
as achievements at university.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Debenhams Head Office, London July 2017 – July 2018
Trainee Assistant Merchandiser - Women’s Accessories Division
• Strong numerical and analytical experience gained through Daily Sales and Best and Worst Analysis
• Excel Advanced and System’s training improved my report building as well as tracking and forecasting skills
• Problem solving and providing solutions through communication between suppliers in Hong Kong, India and
China, as well UK stores
• Managed and tracked continuity lines and repeat orders to maintain steady levels of stock
• Involved in Intake Management to ensure numbers are in line with the WSSI.
• Additional training involved included WSSI, Margin Monitor, VAT, Tax, Profit, Distribution Process
• Supportive member helping with the overall running and organisation of 15 consecutive fashion shows
• Assistant on photoshoots for promotional social media and website posts.
• Assisting within the marketing department - witnessing first-hand how a senior marketing team works in a
busy and challenging work environment.
• Actively involved in supporting the publicity of a Wedding event, assisting with the social media.
• Understanding how to co-ordinate an event alongside a fully running hotel and conference centre.

NTU Fashion Society Vice President 2016/17
• Utilised my team working, organisational and time management skills to welcome new members to the
Fashion Society, organise events and ensure they ran smoothly.

PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT
• Both jobs involved a fast pace environment, requiring quick and forward thinking, with emphasis on customer
service and interpersonal skills, as well as learning different technologies, systems and procedures.
• Developed good time management skills from a young age, coping with both jobs alongside my studies and
exams.
