PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This project aims to propose structural design of a two-storey residential timber house located

at Tambo, Paranaque. The design of the house was based on the Climate, People, and the

Ambiance of the environment. The designer also considers the location of the structure and

the budget of the client upon creating the design.

SCOPE AND DELIMITATION:

The design project is limited to the theoretical designing and proposal of the two- storey

residential house. The limitation includes the design of Purlins, Trusses, Joists, Roof and Floor

Beams, and Girder of the said residential house without violating the National Structural Code

of the Philippines.

This design does not cover the design of Web Members in Truss, Walls, Studs, Struts,

Connections, and Details of the Roof such as Gutter, and Electricity and Plumbing. Also, the

design of Doors, Windows, Stairs, and the Interior Design of the house are not included.
