Q 5. The activities and dependencies between activities involved in the construction of a common
(mass built) are given in Table 3. Here the form of dwelling is taken as (face) brick cavity walls, tiled roof
and concrete slab on‐ground construction. The activity break down has been chosen here corresponding
to the individual trades and their several visits to the site. Construct a network that satisfies the
dependencies given.

Q 6. Table 4 lists the activities and their interrelationship for a project involving the construction of a
road sign gantry, only ten activities are listed; further sub division of activities would generally be
recommended. Develop a network that is consistent with the logic of dependence relationships given
in Table 4.
