 Make sure to model for the students. By writing a paragraph by myself first.
 Give the students a word bank about their picture to help them write the paragraph.
 Give the students a chance to write the paragraph by themselves and I will be monitoring
them in the class.
 I will use class dojo to manage student’s behaviour during the lesson.
 I will use 12345 clap strategies.

 Students must write a paragraph at least 5 or 6 sentences.
 When the students are writing about the topic that I will give them.

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)

T: Today in our writing lesson we will learn about how to write a paragraph. What does a paragraph turn
and talk to your friends in the group? I will give the students 3 min to discuss the answer in their groups.
Then I will use class dojo to choose 4 random students to listen to their answers. Then, T: So, boys and girls
today we will learn how to write a paragraph. Then I will show the students a picture and say. T: who can
tell me what do you see in the picture? I will listen to the student’s answers. if the students give me just
words in the answers I will ask them to give me sentences T: Can you give me full sentences when you give
your answer. After I have listen to the student’s ideas I will write some of them on the white board.

Next, I will start to model for the students how to write a paragraph by: first I will open a word document
in the computer and I will start to write the paragraph about the first picture. While writing the paragraph I
will remind the students of important writing rules such as: T: we have to start our sentences with a capital
letter and use punctuations to end our sentences such as: full stop, question mark and exclamation. I will
write a paragraph with 6 sentences. After that I will show the students the final draft of the paragraph.

Finally, I will show the students a different picture that they will use to write their own paragraph. I will show
the picture to the students and I will say T: t urn and talk to your friends in the group what do you see in the
picture I will give the students 6 min to discuss in their groups. T: I will listen to different students answers

 All of the students in class will write a paragraph about the same picture. The master
students will write at least 8 sentences, development students will write at least 6
sentences and finally, the emerging students will have to write at least 4 sentences in their
paragraph.

 When the time finish’s I will get the students attention by saying T: 12345 and students
must clap. Teacher will recap on the lesson. T: so today we learned today how to write a
paragraph. When we write a paragraph, we make sure to write full sentences. When we
