All surfaces must be dry before proceeding.
Steel Steel must be sandblasted to near white metal (SP-10). In immersion service, abrasive blast to
white metal (SP-5).
Concrete shall be designed, placed, cured, and prepared per NACE No. 6/SSPC-SP 13, latest
edition. Abrade to remove all laitance, loose concrete, etc. and to create surface profile in
Concrete or CMU
accordance with the appropriate ICRI CSP standard for the coating system. The concrete is
considered cured sufficiently for coating when it passes the moisture tests.

A P P L I C AT I O N P R O C E D U R E S
1. All concrete surfaces must be structurally sound.
2. Concrete surfaces must be free of oil and grease.
3. Concrete must be abrasive blasted to remove laitance and surface contaminants.
4. All surfaces must be dry before proceeding.
5. Steel must be sandblasted to near white metal (SP-10).
6. Catalyze Semstone 8084 primer at a 1-2% level by weight. One gallon Semstone 8084 primer
General resin with 40 cc catalyst is the 1% level and pot life at 75 °F (24 °C) will be approximately 30
minutes. One gallon Semstone 8084 primer resin with 80 cc catalyst is the 2% level and should be
used at lower temperatures.
7. Thoroughly mix catalyst into resin and apply to prepared surface using brush or paint roller.
8. Top Coat: refer to specific top coat product bulletin for top coating instructions.
CAUTION: DO NOT apply this product over latex or epoxy based materials
