Introduction

World war 1 and world war 2 used many strategies,tactics , technologies, ways of

torture etc. this report is to compare the military's technologies and such from

back then to now and show what has changed and what has improved

Tanks

Then:Tanks advanced by increased speed, armor ,firepower. It was utilized

extensively for troop deployment and transporting tanks to areas in need.

Now:

Day and night vision gives a big advantage over their WWII equivalents.Tanks

may be unrecognisable from the Russian T34 and German Tiger.

Planes

Then:

World War I was the first major conflict involving the large-use of aircraft.

Airplanes Initially were used mostly for reconnaissance. Pilots and engineers

learned from experience, leading to the development of many specialized types,

including fighters, bombers, and ground-attack airplanes.

(reconnaissance is the exploration outside to gain information about natural

features and enemy presence.)

Now:

It was almost impossible to send a plane to send a plane to spot the without the

lives of soldiers being lost. Now because of our technology advances we can use

drones to spot enemies

Trench warfare

Then: Trench warfare is land warfare using occupied fighting lines consisting
largely of trenches, in which troops are significantly protected from the enemy's
small arms fire and are substantially sheltered from artillery.

Now: In the an era of combat aircraft, tanks, and technological advances, the US

Army still trains troops in the tactics of trench warfare
