P Activity Describe what the learning activity will be. What
will the students and the teacher be doing? (This includes
e what they are doing with the technology).
The students will be creating a comic strip, using
d Pixton, to tell a short story or event that will consist of
a a conversational elements between, at least, two
g characters. Using the vocabulary that has been taught,
o the conversation can consist of greetings, likes and
g dislikes, what activities they do for fun (reading, playing
y sports, listening to music, etc.), the weather, the time,
etc, and saying goodbye. There needs to be a
beginning, middle, and end. It can be funny, sad, or
even just a glimpse into day to day life between two
friends. The goal of this activity is to demonstrate how
well the students are grasping the vocabulary and
grammar. I will be looking for the correct use of the
present tense as well as spelling, grammar and
punctuation.

To prepare the students for this assignment that will be

completed at home, I will go over the assignment with
them in class. I will explain, in detail, what the
requirements are and show the students the sample
that I have made so that they have an idea of what the
assignment should look like. I will also go over
vocabulary and grammar with them so that they are
prepared to use it in their comic strip. In addition to
showing them my student sample, I will also show
them, by using the smartboard or projector, how to get
into the website, login, and create their comic. They
will also be given the set of instructions below and can
contact me via email if they have any remaining
questions.
