We would like to invite you and your students to become our partner-beneficiary in our corporate social
responsibility (CSR) project involving transformation of coffee waste materials into useful and
marketable products.

We are students from the University of Batangas – Lipa City and are currently enrolled at a Corporate
Practice course under the Juris Doctor program. In satisfaction of the requirements for the class, we
registered Kofi Frendz, Inc., a corporation organized primarily to operate a coffee shop business. Apart
from this SEC registration, we are also required to take up a CSR project for further appreciation of the
course.

In line with this, we are conducting a short recycling workshop to promote environmental awareness.
The plan is to use waste materials of coffee shops in Lipa City such as plastic wastes and used coffee
grounds and transform them into useful and marketable products like bookmarks and pencil
case/containers. This is to encourage responsible business practice and to contribute to the society by
protecting the environment and opening up potential and inspirational opportunities for the partner-
beneficiary.

The short workshop will be held on 04 December 2018 (Tuesday) while the fair will be conducted on 07
