There are 40 chapters in the Agenda 21, divided into
four main sections.

• Includes atmospheric protection, combating

Rio Declaration
was a short document produced at the 1992 United
Nations "Conference on Environment and
Development" (UNCED), informally known as the
Earth Summit. The Rio Declaration consisted of 27
principles intended to guide future sustainable
development around the world.

(UNFCCC or FCCC), aimed at fighting global

nonbinding document, "The Future We Want," a 49
