GENERAL SUMMARY:
Develops, implements and oversees strategic, functional and technical processes that drives the operations of the resource
development department to ensure increased performance and efficiencies in securing the financial resources for the organization. Will
design and oversee the execution of launching an RD Operations department. This position reports directly to the Chief Development
Officer.
ADMINISTRATIVE
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Collaborate with Marketing team to Develop Materials ensuring fundraisers have resources to support their work; these can
include but are not limited to: Proposal templates, Marketing materials, Prospect research, PowerPoint presentations, Prospect
profile, Donor history, etc.
TECHNOLOGY
Will oversee initial audit of Salesforce to improve efficiencies and evaluation of current tools; and responsible of ongoing
Raiser’s Edge improvements.
Manage R&D technology vendor relationships.
Provide training & support to R&D team to ensure utilization through training for current staff and new hires.
Responsible for evaluating new tools & technology to support fundraising activities and ensuring they are being fully maximized
(CRM, prospect research, payment processing, online fundraising platforms, event management, relationship mapping, etc.).
Requirements
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree required. Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience in Resource Development
function. Experience in client service tracking software. Proven experience working with various tools to support fundraising activities.
Proven experience analyzing donor data and fundraising strategies and trends.
