1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal)

Through my last teaching practicum, I found after my MST and MCT evaluate me. They mention that
I need to work on doing time management through doing the activities in a centre area.
2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)

To achieve this goal, I will follow the steps of strategies to avoid this goal and achieved.
First, I will prepare agog planning tools. Second, get organized the activity that fits with time of the
activity. Thirdly, using the timer while children doing the activity.

3. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence)

I can tell that I achieved my goal through teaching when I received the evaluation from my MST and
MCT Feedback after the lesson.

I will welcome the children in the class, and introduce myself.

I will tell the children that I’m going to explain the story about

After I finish reading the story I ask them if they like the story or not.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

Name of the activity: Build up the word caterpillar.

It will be in the English area.

What the teacher does?

-I show to children the material they need to use it in this activity.

- I will explain to children the rules about activity: The rules are:-Sharing the materials with
your group member.
- If you need any help raise your hand your hand.

Then, I will explain the activity to them, each child will have a paper include picture of caterpillar,
the sentences name: C is for caterpillar. And they have empty box under the picture. They say the
word and build up according to the letters of the word they have above.

What the children do?

-They will listen to my rules.

- Follow to the instruction.

- Write their name in the top of page.

- Read the sentences of caterpillar.

- start build up the letters according to the word they have.

I will sit with this group, observe children through doing the activity to see if they understand the
concept by asking them some question, and assist them if they need any help.

Independent Experience (small group activity 2)

Activity name: Puzzle the butterfly.

It will be in math canter.

What the teacher will do?

-I will provide the materials in the table (different part of butterfly with proved the picture of
butterfly in front of them).

- I will explain to them what they will do: they will use the pace of paper of butterfly and they
connect each part to gather to make a final shape of butterfly.

What the children will do?

- They see the resources.

- Follow the teacher instruction.

- Using the pace of paper about butterfly and start connect it to make the butterfly shapes.

Independent Experience (small group activity 3)

Name of the activity: make the letter C with play dough.


It will be in Art canter.

What the teacher will do?

- I show to children the material they need to use it in this activity.


- I will explain to kids what they will do.

-They will take the play dough and make the letter C, or they can use the colour and pen to draw
anything that start with letter C.

-What the children will do?

They will see the resources.

- follow to the instruction.

- take the play bough to make letter C.

- take the white paper to draw anything that start with letter C.

Evaluate children about their work.

- I will Call all students in circle area.

- I will ask them question about the lesson and activity.
