AS IS SYSTEM OF IMS

 ADMISSION CELL:

The first step during any admission session –

i. Firstly the college will give a advertisement in the
leading newspaper or through different magazines,
with this activity they try to aware the prospective
student that the college admission process is now
open. They also gives the advertisement through the
web-sites and in there own web-site.
ii. The students have to register themselves through
the online registration process. The online
registration process is open on the official web-site of
the college. This information and the method of
registration is given on web-site and the
advertisement.
iii. Once the candidate is successfully registered in the
college database, a automatic registration number is
generated from the college database with the
receipt.
iv. Now a mail is mailed to the candidate informing them
the date and venue of the group discussion. It can be
through post mail also.
v. After the candidate receives the date and venue,
they appear for the group discussion at the specified
date.
vi. College admission administration takes care of the
candidates and makes them to seat in the hall with
other candidates.
vii. After all the candidates gather and after the time, the
big group is divided in small sub-groups of around 4-
5 peoples in one group.
viii. Each sub-group is assigned with the number and
they are directed to move for the group discussion in
respective room, which is being allotted, to them.
ix. During the group discussion a topic is given to the
group and one to two minute time is given to them
for making any points.
x. After the time the observer tell the group to start the
group discussion.
 xi. During the GD observer sees the positive things in
the candidate and allot marks according to there
performance.
xii. After the group discussion the group is directed to
go for the directors assessment.
xiii. Director of the institute personally interview every
candidate and gives marks according to the
performance of the candidate.
xiv. After directors assessment the candidate directed to
take lunch and leave to there home.
xv. When all the groups finished there GD the respected
panel sit together and calculate the marks of each
candidate.
xvi. After the marks calculation a list of candidates have
been prepared who had secured the marks which
makes them eligible in taking admission in the
college.
xvii. As per the list the admission cell issue a admission
offer letter to the respected candidate, telling them
to submit the fees to enroll themselves in the
academic session.
xviii. When the candidate got their admission letter, they
submit the fees and took admission in their
respective branch.
xix. After all the admission has been done college post a
letter to the student telling them the date for there
induction program.
xx. At the time of induction student comes along with
their mark sheets. They have to carry a photograph
for filling up the registration form.
xxi. After filling the admission form the students are
directed to take the respective place and the
honored industrialist gives a guest lecture.
xxii. Senior faculties also give their views about the
program and they also introduce themselves.
xxiii. Induction program last for around 3 days.
xxiv. After the induction program, students are directed
towards their classes.
xxv. Different sections had been made depending upon
the branch chosen.
xxvi. After all the process, regular classes begun. And the
admission process ends at that time.
  EXAMINATION STRUCTURE:

The examination for each trimester is divided into two

types i.e. Mid Term & End Term Exams. The information
about the schedule and the date sheet of the exams is
made available to the students by putting a hard copy of it
on the notice board.
Similarly, the results are declared by again sticking a hard
copy of the combined results of all the students on the
notice board.

PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM:

i. Candidates are not able to pay the application form

fees online they have to submit the fees manually.
ii. After the final selection candidates are not able to
pay there fees online through net banking or Credit
card etc.
iii. A student account is not created on the official site of
IMS after final selection.
