We can view the novel (Maganda Pa Ang Daigdig) through the lens of realism. From there, I can
construct a paper that can relate from the time it was written and the present socio-politcal issues.
The degradation of farmers in the Philippines and how little is done by the “government” to support or
aid in giving the farmers a stable livelihood.

Bacon Nuggets are delicious. Scientific theory (facts?). Charles Darwin is considered as the
foundation of “evolutionary biology”.
Macroevolution: focuses on the formation of new species (speciation) and on the evolutionary
relationship between groups of species;
generally refers to evolution above the species level. So instead of focusing on an individual
beetle species, a macroevolutionary lens might require that we zoom out on the tree of life...(?);
encompasses the grandest trends and transformations in evolution, such as the origin of
mammals and the radiation of flowering plants. Macroevolutionary patterns are generally what we see
when we look at the large-scale history of life.
Basic evolutionary mechanisms like mutation, migration, genetic drift, and natural selection are
at work and can help explain many large-scale patterns in the history of life.
Genetic drift: Random changes in the gene frequencies of a population from generation to
generation. This happens as a result of sampling error…(?) Some genotypes produce more than
others, not because they are better, but by “luck”, or an external factor like prey-predator
relationship(?).
Major scientific concepts of Origin of Species: Natural selection, struggle for existence,
…(?) [Unsure if this is connected] hereditary variation, and geographical isolation.
“It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is
the one that is most adaptable to change.”

Kailangan ng matibay na pundasyon sa aklat. Ngunit, huwag gawing buod ang kuwento. Use page-
citations to spice up the “analysis”.
