Introduce the family members using pictures. 2. Revision on the action verbs through pictures. Eg: swim, dance, play badminton, draw, sing Lesson 1. Teacher asks questions about what pupils can/can’t do. Development 2. Pupils put a “tick” for the things they can do and a “cross” for the things that they can’t do. 3. Pupils talk to their friends about what they can do and can’t do based on their lists. 4. Pupils write phrases on what their family members can/can’t do. (FA) Eg: Father – can swim – can’t play badminton 5. Pupils present in front of the class. 6. Teacher shows the pupils how to connect the sentences by using the coordinating conjunction (but). Eg: My father can swim but he can’t play badminton. 7. Pupils write down the sentences using the coordinating conjunction that they have formed. (FA) Post-lesson Exit Card 1.
