Title : Realization of Tamil Syllables based text to Speech transferring Engine Using
FPGA (4 months)

Project description: The text string is sent to input to the system, using the standard PS/2 PC
keyboard, the corresponding ASCII value of the keys sensed and it compares with the dictionary
of rules in SD card memory location. This operation is carried out by FPGA Altera D2E kit and
Quartus2 software. After getting the required digital form of sound signal, the FPGA sends this
to audio codec (WM8731), and the codec is convert the digital information into sound signal.
