Shear resistance of composite beam is the same as for steel IPE section – shear resistance of concrete slab is
neglected. Shear stress in IPE web should not exceed shear strength of steel.

Normal stress in IPE flanges should not exceed yield strength of steel and normal stress in concrete slab
