AFFIDAVIT

I, Sumit Bhutani, s/o Sh. ___________________________ , r/o ____________________________ working in

the capacity of Director in Scientific Security Management Services (P) Limited do

hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:-

1. I am well conversant with the facts and circumstances of the present case and as
such duly competent to swear the present affidavit.

2. That all the relevant documents are submitted to Oriental Insurance Company
Limited, Shop No:CBOL-13, Veer Savarkar Marg, Lajpat Nagar II, New Delhi 110024
for processing our claim amounting to Rs. 7,31,00,000/- (Rupees Seven Crore
Thirty One Lakh Only).

3. That invariably we have a robust recruitment procedure that ensures client

satisfaction with the objective of retaining desired levels of security standards.

4. That we have already stated in our reply dated 04.10.2017 to the surveyor Mr. P.
Sree Krishna whose contents are reproduced below

“It is also confirmed that we have a robust and tested recruitment procedure for all
persons carrying out cash operations in our company. Most of the employees
involved in misappropriation of the money in the instant case, were recruited long
back and were assigned duties and ATM custodians in due course on the basis of the
experience gained by them. We have been getting antecedents of all the employees
verified from Police Authorities. In this connection, we are enclosing copies of the
Police Verification reports available in respect of the following employees:
1) Mr. Nandiga Jagdeesh Kumar, Custodian at BO: Rajahmundry (A-8 of charge
sheet)
2) Mr. Pilaka Veera Venkata Satya Sai Dileep Reddy, Security Supervisor at BO:
Kakinada (A-7 of charge sheet)
 3) Mr. Gurijala Sridher, Custodian at BO: Kakinada (A-1 of charge sheet)
4) Mr. Gujju Saiprasad Reddy, Branch Incharge of Kakinada Branch (A-6 of charge
sheet)
