NATIONAL LEADERSHIP SEMINAR-WORKSHOP FOR SUPREME STUDENT

GOVERNMENT OFFICERS, ORGANIZATION/CLASS OFFICERS
OF THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION FOR THE CAREER
ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATORS

The Philippine Association for the Career Advancement of Educators (PACAE) will
conduct the National Seminar-Workshop on Leadership for Supreme Student
Government (SSG) Officers, Organization/Class Officers of Secondary Schools with the
theme Strengthening Ethical Values, Encouraging Critical and Creative Thinking and
Developing Moral Character and Personal Discipline of 21st Century Filipino Student-
Leaders on the following dates and venues:

Shanghai Village, Davao City

The seminar-workshop aims to:

1. explain the elements of effective student leadership through service and

academic achievement;
2. develop critical and creative thinking skills as important skills of a
student leader;
3. develop self-discipline and time management skills as important skills
of a student leader; and
4. acquire teamwork skills and attend to relationships in school: student
to student, student to teacher and student to school administrators.

The target participants are officers of the SSG and school organizations/class
officers from public and private secondary schools.

Participation of public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-

of-classes policy stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures
to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
