ENGAGEMENT OF YOUNG PROFESSIONAL (FINANCE) ON CONTRACT BASIS

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), an Autonomous Body under Ministry of Road
Transport & Highways, invites applications for engagement of 70 YOUNG PROFESSIONALS
(FINANCE) on contract basis for deployment in NHAI. Such engagement shall be purely on contact
basis. The number of posts advertised may increase or decrease at the discretion of the Authority.

2. Details for the posts of Young Professionals (Finance) and terms & conditions as well as
period of engagement, eligibility, experience etc. are as under :-
A) Eligibility & Experience

4 Age Limit Candidates should be below 32 years of age as on 11.12.2018.

5 Period of The period of engagement may be for a period of upto two years in the
Contract first instance, which may be further extended by one more year, based
on the requirements of the NHAI and the satisfactory performance of the
incumbent. In case a person leaves before completion of one year,
he/she will not get any work certificate
6 Remuneration An initial consolidated amount of Rs. 60,000 per month, inclusive of all
(per month) allowances. The consolidated remuneration will be increased @ 5% for
each succeeding year subject to satisfactory performance.
7 Education Degree in Commerce/Accounts from a recognized university or
qualification ICAI/ICWAI/MBA(Finance) from a recognized University/Institute.

8 Experience Experience in Financial Accounting/Budgeting/Internal /Audit/Contract

Management/Fund Management/Disbursement in Central Government or
State Government or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or
Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organizations and other
Government Bodies preferred.
3. The candidates are advised to go through the terms and conditions of engagements of the
YPs issued vide NHAI’s Policy Guidelines No.1.3.1.12.2017 dated 21.06.2017 and No. 1.3.1.17
dated 26th June, 2018 placed on NHAI’s website i.e www.nhai.gov.in before applying for the post.
4. Other Important Conditions:

The Applicants are advised to fill the online application form carefully in accordance with
the eligibility criteria mentioned above. It may be noted that any subsequent clarification
regarding eligibility etc. at a later date will not be entertained under any circumstances.

5. Crucial date for determination of eligibility shall be the last date prescribed for the receipt
of online applications.

6. The upper age limit for advertised post is relaxable as per Govt. of India rules applicable
for different categories.

7. While applying the advertised post, the PwD candidate shall submit a disability certificate
issued by competent authority.

8. Canvassing or bringing influence in any form will disqualify the candidature.

9. The last date & time for submission of online application is 11.12.2018(6.00 PM)

10. Corrigendum or Addendum or cancellation to this advertisement, if any, shall be published

only on the website of NHAI. Therefore, the Applicants are advised to check the website
