Recognize and learn about the different between the rectangle and circle

Identify a lesson and what standards are you addressing:
The lesson was about the different between the circle and rectangle shape. The student recognize about
circle and rectangle shapes, and to follow the dots and cut the paper to make circle and rectangle
shapes. The activity was the student crush the paper to make rectangle and circle shape and the second
activity was to cut the paper to make circle and rectangle shapes, because I want the student develop
their fine motor skill. The student will learn how to cut the paper. In the activity I will let student to stick
and color the circle and rectangle.

Who is the lesson for?
Where did the lesson take place?
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson?
What did the students do?
The lesson was for pre-kinder student and the activities for the all level. The lesson was in the classroom
in the circle area. And the whole activity was in the front of the class. I make sure all student knows the
different between the circle and rectangle shapes.

How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding?
How well did you engage the students?
The student asked me question that showed me they were learning and understand what I was teaching
them. After they finish the activity I ask them question such as what is this shape. I engaged the student
by bring the box have different shapes of rectangle and circle

Did your lesson meet your teaching goals?
My lesson meets my goals because in the end of the class most of them know how to cut the paper by
following the dots and to cut the paper to make the circle and rectangle shapes. And the student was
doing the activities well and they asked me about the ant which show me that they understand the
lesson. I assess my student in the end.

In the future I will dived the student into 2 group the first group will make circle shapes by using color
and paper and the second will make rectangle
