This

last past month of November was the month

in which some countries celebrate the holiday
Thanksgiving. One of those countries is the United
States. In some of the classes at I.E.S Murillo, I
presented a presentation about the holiday. First, I
started off by explaining two different theories or
beliefs that people have about the origins of the
holiday regarding the European Pilgrims and the
Native American Indians. Later I explained how
the holiday is celebrated in United States today.
Finally, I had the students use the word
Thanksgiving as an acronym to create a poem
describing the holiday or things that they are
thankful for.
