World Religions

Goal
The goal of this project is for you to demonstrate your understanding of the relationship between the Anglo Core Values
and a World Religion (Judaism or Islam).
Role
Your role as an individual is to provide a balanced analysis of the similarities and differences between the Anglo Core
Values and a World Religion (Judaism or Islam).
Audience
Your audience will be your teacher.
Situation
There is significant conflict around the world, both in and out of the Anglo Community. Much of this conflict could be resolved
by having a better understanding of what people believe and why they believe it. This is about tolerance.
Purpose
The purpose of this is to demonstrate our understanding of the similarities between different religious institutions and the
Anglo.
Success Criteria
Ai, Bi, Cii, Diii

You must do the following things;

1) Write a paragraph on the Origin (Where, when and by who) the Anglo Core Values document
(http://www.anglocolombiano.edu.co/index.php/en/about-us/vision-and-values) was created and analyze the purpose
(why it was created).
2) Choose 1 (not both) of the following questions;
- What are the similarities and differences between Islam (5pillars) and the Anglo Core Values?
- What are the similarities and differences between Judaism (10 commandments) and the Anglo Core Values?
Write a paragraph to explain why you chose the question
3) Complete research to allow you to answer the question.
4) To get the top levels you must analyze at least one other piece of research in terms of Origin and Purpose.
5) Write a 2 PEEL (Point, Evidence, Explanation, Link) paragraph response, one on the similarities and one on the
differences.
