REQUEST TYPE IMPORTANT INFORMATION

New application Change Plan i. Write 3 Usernames that you prefer. Your Username must be 6 to 10 characters long and
can contain letters and numbers. The Bank will randomly assign one of the three
Usernames depending on availability. The Bank may also assign a different Username at
Consumer Basic Consumer Premium the Bank’s discretion.
ii. Your Username will be emailed to your registered email address and your Password will
be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS.
You can also register to FaisaNet online on faisanet.mib.com.mv iii. Mobile app token is available for iOS, Android and Windows Phone and can be downloaded
freely on the respective stores.
iv. Classic and Card token devices can be collected from the Bank.
v. If you have more than one account at MIB, write one of your account numbers. All of your
PERSONAL DETAILS (FILL IN BLOCK LETTERS) accounts will be linked to your FaisaNet user.
vi. Your Daily Limit is the maximum transaction(s) amount (MVR or USD) you can do daily.
vii. Please be mindful of security while using FaisaNet. Here are some tips.
Full name (Mr. / Ms. / Dr. / Other) a. Make sure you login to the correct FaisaNet website, advisably, by always typing the
address, faisanet.mib.com.mv, in your web browser.
b. Never disclose your Username or Password to anyone and change your Password
periodically.
c. MIB will never request for your Password, OTP or any personal information on emails
or pop-ups. If you get any suspicious pop-ups or emails, or suspect any fraudulent
activity on your accounts, report them to us immediately on 3011100 or at
ID card no. / Passport no. (Please attach a copy)

d. Always keep your anti-virus software up-to-date with the latest virus signatures.
viii. The usage of FaisaNet is subject to some fees and charges as described below. Additional
fees may be charged as per MIB’s List of Bank Charges.
