Key Highlights:
1. Kenya’s Nasimiyu Wafula Lydia (women) and Uganda’s Joshua Chemutai (men) took the top honours in the 42km category
each earning UGX 20m in the process
2. They both finished in better times than the winners last year
3. Ugandans have taken a clean sweep of the men’s category taking top 3 slots
4. It was a poor showing for Kipngetich Kurgat Sammy (men), the winner of the 2017 42km edition, as he finished in 4th position in

5. The only Kenyans in the top 10 men category finished in 4th (Kipngetich Kurgat Sammy) and 9th positions (Francis Keitany)
