Different ways of Filipinos to celebrates Semana Santa

During these days, most of Filipinos are remembering the life of Jesus Christ. Some Filipinos practice the “Bisita Eglesia”
where they visit catholic churches to pray and listen to the Priest’s message.

A lot of Filipinos joined the “Penetensia” where they hurt themselves by whipping themselves with ropes. They walked
under the scorching heat of the sun because they believed that it can lessen their sins. They try to replicate the suffering
of Jesus.

Many Filipinos wanted to relax and drive to resort and beaches to enjoy the long week break.

Filipino have different ways to celebrate the “Semana Santa” but the most important of all is they remembered the lord
Jesus Christ.
