INTRODUCTION
Pizza is one of the most popular foods not only here in the Philippines but also in

other countries. The delicious taste of pizza marked every tongue of the people who’ve

tasted it that made the pizza as one of the most famous foods all over the world.

Everyone (especially the students) love a good slice and affordable slice of

pizza, and that’s how the proponents decided to build a mini pizza parlor for the people

of Bauan. Making pizzas doesn’t require too much time, effort and space. They also

think that building a pizza parlor with a twist (by making pizza rolls) can be a profitable

venture because of its uniqueness and affordable price especially for the students.

The twist that has been made by the proponents was that the pizza was been

rolled and they decided to add different toppings on it. They also added some drinks to

satisfy the needs of the customers. They chose flavoured juices to accompany their pizza

rolls.

CHAPTER 1

PROJECT SUMMARY

Bauan Technical High School

1.1 Name of the Business

The name of the proposed business is “ P’eat’zza house”. It also has a

quotation under it labeled as, “House of Rolled Pizza” to help the customers to be aware
of what’s inside the said pizza parlor. The proponents chose this name because they
wanted to catch the attention of the people who have the delight in satisfying their
tummies. The customers will be curious on its name and it will be the reason why they
are going to buy this product. They also want to help their customers to meet food
satisfaction in just an affordable price. They also want their product to be known and
have a big profit.

1.2 Goal of the Business

The main goal of the business is to earn money and give those customers
the satisfaction they want to meet in terms of food. The proponents also wants build a
business related to what they love to make and to eat, and of course they would also
want to share it with their upcoming customers. They also want their product to meet the
market standards and build other branches in different places.

1.3 Location of the Business

P’eat’zza House will be located outside the Citimart Bauan. The proponents has
their stall beside Chooks To Go.

One of the reasons for choosing this location is for the customer to buy
pasalubong for their families left at home after buying groceries in Citimart.

The proponents decided to choose this location because it is very accessible and a
lot of possible customers are passing outside.

1.4 Brief Description of the Business

The type of business being built was a partnership.A partnership is a business

with multiple owners, each of whom has invested in the business. Partnership includes
10

Bauan Technical High School

individual who work in the business, it also include partners who have limited
participation and also limited liability for the debts and lawsuits against the
business. Since there are 8 members in the group they decided to make a deal and
partner with each other. The Following are the benefits of business partnership and it is
the reason why the members chose partnership.

Capital – Due to the nature of the business, the partners will fund the
business with start up capital. This means that the more partners there are, the
more money they can put into the business, which will allow better flexibility and
more potential for growth. It also means more potential profit, which will be
equally shared between the partners.

Flexibility – A partnership is generally easier to form, manage and run.

They are less strictly regulated than companies, in terms of the laws governing the
formation and because the partners have the only say in the way the business is run
(without interference by shareholders) they are far more flexible in terms of
management, as long as all the partners can agree.

Shared Responsibility – Partners can share the responsibility of the

running of the business. This will allow them to make the most of their abilities.
Rather than splitting the management and taking an equal share of each business
task, they might well split the work according to their skills. So if one partner is
good with figures, they might deal with the book keeping and accounts, while the
other partner might have a flare for sales and therefore be the main sales person
for the business.

Decision Making – Partners share the decision making and can help each
other out when they need to. More partners means more brains that can be picked
for business ideas and for the solving of problems that the business encounters.
11

Bauan Technical High School

The reason why the proponents chose their business is because their product
offers high quality of pizza to a growing community that currently has limited
availability and no availability to delivery.

Their menu will include rolled flavors of pizzas with various combinations
ingredients inside. Predefined, high-margin pizzas will be highlighted on the
menu. Additionally, drinks will be included in the initial menu offerings.

The proponents decide to choose this business because they wanted to practice
and make use of their practical knowledge and apply what they learned from school.
