1. Introduction

Corporate social responsibility is such kind of responsibility bared by organization in order

to maintain its brand and to make equilibrium in the environment. Chaudhary groups is
well renowned organization. It could be explained as CG is one of the best organization
with which international product is competing. It is the rising business organization that is
not only growing but also expanding it responsibility in the environment.

Today Chaudhary Group has over 100 Companies under its umbrella and an investment
outlay of over $1Billion. Being the first Nepalese organization to have a distribution
network spanning the subcontinent, it has made substantial presence in South Asia's
fiercely competitive Food and Beverages market. Our Food & Beverages products have
been a common household name in Nepal for decades. With ISO 9002 certification,
providing the lead, our F&B products have crossed the borders to become a favorite in
South Asian cities. he Group's progress over the last sixty-seven years has been a trial-
blazer on the Nepalese horizon. In a land-locked, developing third world nation, this spells
nothing short of very hard-earned success. Apart from also being a responsible citizen,
Chaudhary Group forms an intrinsic part of every realm of life from Biotech, Cement,
Education, Electronics & White goods, Energy and Infrastructure, Financial Services,
FMCG, Hotels & Resorts, Realty to Retail.

Thus, being a BBA student its my pleasure to do research in such well renowned

2. Significance of the Study

This study will help me to understand how organizations operates its corporate social
responsibilities. How our theoretical aspect will be usable in practical field is the main
thing that can be represented through this report.

Corporate social responsibility lies at the center of the circles. A company brings its
business with a main objective for making profit. But because it is a part of the society
itself, it has its certain obligation and responsibility towards it. So now its concern values,
objectives, and decision are based on something more than the pursuit of profits. Being
part of society, it has to be responsible to the various stakeholders’ interest of the society,
such as financers, employees, creditors, workers, debtors, community, customers,
prospective investors, and state. Management of the corporation cannot be indifferent
about national and social problems such as unemployment, over population, rural
development, environment protection and providing social benefits like blood donation,
free health test, and pure drinking water etc. for the betterment of the people and
society.

Thus, research is conducted in order to identify how the corporate designs CSR and how
they implement it. It is also another aspect that this research will be helpful to gain
intensive knowledge about research itself.
