Wonderware System Platform 2017 Adv Dev Studio Trial Licenses

Trial licenses do not require activation. These licenses do not work in a License Server Scenario.
They must be copied into directories of each individual system where Wonderware System
Platform 2017 is installed similar to how the old LIC files were used.

There are two Adv Dev Studio Trial Licenses:

 advstd-35-p-17-intouchrw-trial-XX-XXX-XXXX.bin is for systems when Read Write
functionality for InTouch is desired.
 advstd-35-p-17-intouchro-trial-XX-XXX-XXXX.bin is for systems when Read Only
functionality for InTouch is desired.

Instructions:
Copy the selected Trial License File (*.bin) to the following folder on the computer node where
Wonderware System Platform 2017 is installed:

%ProgramData%\Schneider Electric\Licensing\TrialLicensePool

The folder will be created automatically during installation

Notes:
1. Trial licenses do not require activation and are not visible in the new license manager because
they are not server based!
2. Trial licenses will expire on the indicated expiry date
3. The product will always seek for a license server first. If required licenses are found on the
license server, these will be used. When no server can be found or no available license can be
found on a license server, the local folder will be looked up for a License File.
4. Be aware when replacing a trial license file you may have to reboot to restart the application
services to consume the trial license replacement.
5. Trial licenses are not visible in the License Grid from the License Manager
