MYP 3 Week 46 Planner

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
INTERNATIONAL DAY
CIS will be celebrating International Day on November 20th! Please dress up!
We will be carrying on the tradition of asking all students (MYP and PYP) to dress up in clothes
that represent where they or their families are from, or their favorite country. In the past, students
have worn traditional traditional saris, bunader, sports team jerseys and more!

CHRISTMAS CONCERT
Hold the date- November 27th
There will be two concerts this year, one at 5PM and another at 7PM. All students will perform in
both the concerts. Tickets will be available for sale at the reception from Monday, 5th November.
Payment can be made by CASH or CARD. We do not accept VIPPS.

PLANNING DAY- SCHOOL CLOSED

The students will have Wednesday November 28th off as avpassering for the Christmas Concert.

UPDATE ON OUTDOOR AREA:

There have been some problems with pipes under the playground area. The Kommune is working
as quickly as possible to fix the pipes. The park and bridge are now open behind the school. A bike
rack has been installed so that the students are able to use the new bridge as an entry point to the
school.

Reflective Vests/Straps/Backpacks
The mornings and afternoons are darker now. Please make sure that your child uses reflective
gear on their way to and from school. Parents that drop off their children at the front of the school
please be extra careful. MYP students will be visiting PYP to show presentations about the
importance of reflective gear. Please also ensure your child has indoor shoes available for use in
the school especially since the weather is changing as winter approaches.

MYP End of Term Tests

The tentamen will be moved to week 49 (from week 47). The MYP2 students have been invited to
play at a special music festival in Spain during week 47. We appreciate your flexibility in this
situation. Since we are a school that is focused on the arts it is important that we take advantage of
these opportunities for our students.

END OF TERM TEST DATES:

Tuesday 4th December: Study Day

Wednesday 5th December: English Test
