Department of State, and is administered by American Council for International Education. The JFDP
is a non-degree, professional development program that provides university instructors with a
semester long opportunity to expand their knowledge and expertise in their academic field by
attending classes and working with faculty members at universities in the US.
As a JFDP Fellow I was hosted by University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming, USA. I attended
graduate courses and conducted research in International Affairs at University, I made academic and
cultural presentations and attended professional conferences. I also conducted a guest lecture on the
course "Politics of Europe and European Union". In addition to the guest lecture, I also made a
presentation for the lecturers of the Political Science Department of the University of Wyoming on the
topic Prospects and Problems in Croatia's Accession to the EU and NATO.
