PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Working with FactSet Sytsems India Pvt. Ltd. as Research Analyst in FactSet_
MergerStat (M&A) team from September 2009 to till date.

FactSet_MergerStat deals with collection of data that involves mergers,


acquisitions, spinoff and other items falling into this classification. The team needs
to collect information like type of merger or acquisition, pricing structure, summary
of the deal, company creations & maintenance, financial and legal advisors involved
in the deal, sources that provide information about deal etc.

Job Description:

 Tracks mergers, acquisitions, management buyout and spinoff worldwide from


Marquee news releases, 10K’s & 10Q’s and analyzing press releases & filings
 Analyzes the M&A data and deal related information
 Provides source for the MergerStat Deal Entry.
 Utilize Internet for additional ad-hoc research.
 Entering complete and accurate details as required by Global Entities

MANAGEMENT THESIS-I

Title: “A thesis on Performance Management and its impact on employee


performance at HSBC.”
Description
 A detail study was done on the topic Performance management through revising
abstracts and undergoing various review of literature
 Interacted with the HR executive and 200 employees of HSBC in order to collect
the data
 Performance management is at the heart of today’s integrated talent
management, which also support succession planning, career development,
compensation management and other talent management processes.
 Performance management based on coaching and counseling has stronger
positive outcomes overall than performance management based primarily on
competitive assessment
 Performance management helps to identify the career needs of the employees
and motivate them to perform better.
 The organization is using Balance Scorecard as a Performance management tool

Organization Behavior
Title: A study on relation between Job satisfaction & Absenteeism of employees of
Port Trust, Visakhapatnam.
Sample size: 50
 Collected primary data from the employees of Port Trust using a questionnaire
for a sample size of 50 which was further tabulated to reach at conclusions
 The results indicated that employees are highly dissatisfied with their job but it
does not show any impact on absenteeism due to fear of deduction in their
payment

Human resource management


Title: A study on impact of Job enrichment on the employee productivity in HSBC.
Sample size: 50
 Drafted a questionnaire and interacted with 50 employees of HSBC
 The enrichment technique used in the organization are incorporating more
responsibility in the job and introducing new, difficult and creative tasks
 Found that enrichment technique plays an important role in motivating
employee which ultimately increases the productivity of the employee

Marketing
Title: “Study on consumer perception about Hero Honda vis-à-vis other bike in
Visakhapatnam”.
Sample size: 50
 Collected the information with the help of a well framed questionnaire which was
given to the sales executives of the automobile showrooms and also the public
of different age groups and income groups
 Analyzed the customers range and its preferences about bikes and also to know
the average sales of those vehicles per month
 Customer perception is based on different factors like resale value and
purchasing power
 Observed that most of the middle class customers are be interested in buying
Hero Honda bikes
