GCSE Point Score Explained with a grade
9 = Above an A*
GCSE Point Score is the average score you gain across your 8 = A*
GCSEs. Each GCSE grade is worth a set amount and when added 7=A
together and divided by the total number of GCSEs you have 6=B
taken it gives the average of your GCSE performance. BTEC’s and 5=C
other qualifications do not count in GCSE point score. 4=D
