The use of this form to upload observations to ePortfolio is a Standard Experience requirement for supervisors.

Domain 2: CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENT X Enjoyed watching your interactions with
2a: Creating an Environment of Respect and Rapport; the students both before, during, and
after the class.
2b. Establishing a Culture for Learning; X The class starts with warm-ups that all
of the students were participating in
nicely. I was surprised how many of
them did participate and the level that
they did this. If they weren’t doing the
activity exactly right, they were at least
moving and trying to be active.
2c: Managing Classroom Procedures; X Students knew the routine and what to
expect.
2d: Managing Student Behavior; X Behavior wasn’t an issue. I am not sure I
ever even heard a redirection of any
kind.
2.e: Organizing Physical Space; X Use of the entire gym then outside to the
football field/track for the actual game.

Domain 3: INSTRUCTION X Positive communication.
3a. Communicating w/Sts;

3b. Questioning and Discussion Techniques; X Students had been lead-up activities for football
skills so that didn’t have a lot at questioning or
discussion to get involved in the game. He
explored the game and they followed the
directions well to play it.
3c. Engaging Sts in Learning; X Students engaged in being placed on different
teams. For those that hadn’t suited out or not
willing to participate—they at least walked the
track or did some sort of physical exercise.
3d. Using Assessment in Instruction; X Assessment came in the form of playing the game,
understanding the rules and trying to participate
to the best of their abilities.
3e. Demonstrating Flexibility and Responsiveness X Worked with students for participation. Was
aware and tried to talk to a student that was
evidently unusually silent.

seemed to have a good grasp of the
students in this class.
1c: Setting Instructional Outcomes; X Lead-up activities were designed to help
wth skills for the football game and
understanding how to play.
1d. Demonstrating Knowledge of Resources; X Getting to see what all is available for
use in HS PE.
1e. Designing Coherent Instruction; X Lesson built on previously-taught skills
for football then had the ultimate game
to practice more skills. A real football
game will be played next week.
1f. Designing Integrating Student Assessment X Assessment is informal for this
particular day. It came it he form of
using skills to run, pass, and catch.

4d. Participating in a Professional Community; X Helping with HS football. He is attending practices


as well as Friday night games, and Saturday and
Sunday meetings. He is also getting to help coach
a position area.
4e. Growing and Developing Professionally; X Having had a great experience in the elementary
PE area—he is thoroughly enjoying HS PE and
athletics. He is practicing new skills and
developing new relationships.
4f. Showing Professionalism X Doing great as a professional!

Each observation will be acknowledged by the student teacher through the ePortfolio system.
The cooperating teacher and the campus principal will receive a copy of each completed observation.
