Radioactivity Research Project - Due Nov 8, 2018

Your objective is the chose one of the following subjects, research the
subject and present your findings in a scientific paper, poster board or slide
presentation.

Refer to individual rubrics for each project type. Entire project must be in
your own words or you must cite the source. Plagiarism will not be
tolerated. Must have 3-5 reliable resources and they must be cited in APA
format. You will have approximately 3-4 hours of in class research and work
time on this project.

USE YOUR TIME WISELY. Each day of work will have a specific goal and
progress will be monitored. (Off task behaviors will result in point loss)

This project will count as 2 test grades and will be the first big grade for Q2.

Possible Radioactive Projects

The Discovery of X-rays & Wilhelm Rontgen

Uranium, Polonium & Pierre & Marie Curie

Albert Einstein & Conservation of Mass and Energy

The Atomic Bomb & the Manhattan Project

Fusion and Fission Reactions

Nuclear Medicine
