INTRODUCTION:

The quality of employees a company hires depends on an effective Recruitment


and Selection strategy. However, the process isn’t always smooth sailing.
Employers face tangible problems such as the cost of advertising job opening
and intangible obstacles such as improving communication between recruiters
and hiring managers. Therefore, to get the right workforce at a comparatively
lower rate in the present scenario is a challenging task.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY:

A task stands meaningless if there is no objective attached to it. The purpose of


selecting the topic of “Employee recruitment and Selection” is to study how
workforce is hired/recruited and selected into an organization and to monitor
and learn the latest trends and technologies emerging related to the same and to
gather practical knowledge of the actual processes taking place in the
organization.
The basic objectives being:
 To understand the internal recruitment and selection process at RUBCO
Ltd.
 To identify areas where there can be the range for improvement and give
suitable suggestions to streamline the recruitment and selection processes.
 To analyse the satisfaction level of the employees about the recruitment
and selection procedure of an organization.
SCOPE OF THE STUDY:

The study is relevant in a sense that it helps examine and focus thoroughly on
the practical application that all manager’s need to deal with under the HR
relations and responsibilities head. An organizations biggest challenge is to
arrange the right kind of employee at the rights task in the job , failing which
not only does it increase the cost of recruitment and selection but also affects
the reputation of the organization. The study undertaken provides accurate and
authorized information regarding the subject matter.

 Time Constraint due to one-month duration of the Project


 A busy Schedule of the employees also affects while collecting data from
them
 Employees are not allowed to provide sensitive and in-depth information
 The study area is based on RUBCO Ltd.

CONCLUSION:
Employees of any organization are its life blood. With the dawn of this realization, upon the
present day business organizations, there appears to be a major shift towards human resource
management. In fact, the employees are encouraged to participate in the major decisions and
thus play a vital role in the management of the firm. The performance of the organization
depends upon the efficiency that its employees exhibit. Hence it is of crucial importance that
the employees with the most suitable qualifications , competencies and work culture be
recruited and selected in the organization.
