Performance Statistics
Data Analysis Overview
Overview
Introduction Performance statistics covers the performance management
module and statistic analysis module which provides the
following management functions for users.
Task management module helps the users to manage the
tasks of collecting performance data.
Custom item functions in statistic analysis are used to define
some indices that users are concerned about. These indices
are the data obtained from specific computation of some
indices collected by performance statistics. Custom item
function allows users to define such indices and calculation
formula.
Custom query in the statistic analysis helps the user to
define a query template for indices to query the appropriate
templates upon next query.
This chapter describes the performance statistics data analysis
to monitor the performance of different network elements and to
view and analyze the performance data and related data reports.
User can monitor the running state of the system on real-time
basis and correct the variations of system performance to
improve the service quality and management efficiency of the
whole system.
The chapter introduces the classification and frequently-used
methods of data analysis on OMC.

Overview
Introduction Notification is the message comes out in the routine operation of
ZXMBW AAA System. It is used to notify to maintenance person.
Alarm message is the message to identify problem or fault in the
operation of ZXMBW AAA System. It helps the administrator to
locate and troubleshoot the problem to ensure the stability of
system.

Alarm Information
Definition Alarm management system realizes integrated monitoring to the
running state of ZXMBW AAA System, collecting abnormal
information of various parts such as boards, links, databases
and servers in real time. Alarm management system reports to
administrator the alarm information accurately in time to help
the administrator to locate and troubleshoot and ensures the
stability of system.
Description Alarm information is an alert message appears when problem or
fault comes out in the operation of ZXMBW AAA System. It is
displayed through OMC system. Commonly alarm information
lasts for a while and disappears only after the elimination of
problem or fault.
Alarm information can be ranked into level 1, 2, 3 and 4, which
stands for emergency, serious, important and common. Alarm
rank can be modified according to requirement in OMC Network
Management System.
For different levels of alarm, different solutions are applied.
ZTE local office is called up if alarm information of level 1
and 2 come out. Problems are solved under the guidance of
ZTE engineer.
