VARA FM

VARA FM is a high performance modem for using with standard FM rigs.

VARA FM is based in the VARA HF modem, using a similar symbol rate

(42 bps), and five speed levels, reaching 7380bps User Data Rate (about
x6 times faster than 1200bps Packet).

VARA FM bandwith is 2580 Hz (300 – 2880 Hz) and fit into a standard
Narrow-FM channel.

Like VARA HF, VARA FM compliance with US FCC Symbol rate rule:
The maximum symbol rate on any carrier shall be 300 baud or less. VARA
uses 42 bps in DATA and ACK blocks. This is in conformance to the
current US FCC rules
