The beautiful 150km stretch of coastline in the 
South of Spain is a popular holiday destination for 
thousands of European holiday­makers. But if you 
enjoy more than just ‘beach’, here’s an alternative 
way to spend your days in the sun. 
 
Day 1 – Old Town Marbella 
Most people think of beach when they think of 
Marbella. But Marbella Old Town is a charming 
place to walk around. The streets are narrow and 
cobbled in a traditional Spanish style. And there are 
many boutiques and cafes to see along the way. 
 
Day 2 – Malaga 
The capital city of this region is worth a visit. 
Malaga Cathedral is the main attraction in the city. 
But if you spend the afternoon in town, you should 
stay for the evening. The city comes alive as the 
plazas get full with people eating in outside

Day 3 – Puerto Banus 
If you have money in your purse, then spend some 
time in Puerto Banus. This is where the rich and 
famous enjoy their time. The shops and restaurants 
are expensive but the quality is great. And you can

Day 4 – Wet and Wild 
With or without kids, the water parks are not to be 
missed. There are a handful of water parks up and

Beach lover of not – spend the day at the beach 
before heading home. It’s important that you get 
your tan before flying back. Otherwise, no one will
