App name : INIAD Traffic
Target users : All people (INIAD members and the society)
Background :
All members at INIAD have various skills, knowledge, and talents. Apparently, they came
from various backgrounds. For example, from the student’s perspective, they have different
knowledges and experiences in programming. Some of them have extraordinary skills, but still
quite a lot of them never undergo any programming classes before entering college. There are also
some group of students who have decent communication skills. Nevertheless, some still struggle
with it and for some reason, they still feel shy to ask for help. From the teacher’s perspective, they
also have different expertise based on their research. Computer architecture, networking, urban
engineering, ui designer, accounting, etc. More than that, INIAD is also still a new campus with
two batches where not much outsiders notice it. From these problems, we can conclude that
humans have their own strengths and weaknesses, so we need collaboration in order to cover our
weaknesses and contribute our strengths to the society
By this condition, we aim to create an app with a theme “INIAD’s tutorials and projects”,
where it is an online hub where teachers and students, students and students are able to share their
knowledge towards one another, also working together in a project. The name we gave for this
app is “INIAD Traffic” which means that this app represents a road where INIAD members and
outsider societies are the road users who are exchanging information and knowledge towards one
another. Furthermore, by engaging public society, students will also be able to learn how to interact
with outside people, understand and solve the society’s problem properly, which is a valuable
experience for them at the workplace.
Main app features:
“INIAD Traffic” app has two functions. Internal use and public use.

For internal users:
Teachers and students have their own profile to show their biodata, specialized skills,
courses (for students), research and projects. Especially for the biodata/CV section, instead of
using long paragraphs, the app will use an animation slides to present the data which is more
attractive. Teachers and students can also share their specialized skills and ideas though videos,
interesting presentation, digital portfolio etc. which might be possible to help other students in
solving the same problem. For example, in case all the freshman students are facing the same
advance assignment. Students who have more experience can share their method to find the answer
through the app’s forum. Teachers who has research or project can seek and offer students with
wanted skills and expertise to collaborate with them. The same thing could possibly happen
between students (especially for second to fourth year students). The app might be use for event’s
open recruitment and sharing job desks, which is conducted by the administration office staffs or
students.
For public users:
The result of the tutorial videos, researches, and projects could also be shared publicly
where the society can see and learn about INIAD’s activities. They are able to give feedbacks and
discuss about society problems with students. We think that this is a good way to showcase and
promote INIAD to the society beside conducting open campus every year.

Other minor features:


 Usually, teachers don’t have enough time to explain all the advance materials. So, they
can post their explanation with the material files attached through the app with a video.
By then, students who have interest can understand well.
 When the weather is at its worst or dangerous, classes are canceled and make-up class will
be arranged. By using this app, teachers can conduct a live video lesson in the same period
instead of arranging a make-up class.
 In the future, INIAD could be able to establish an online degree course through this app
where people ought to pay the tuition fee.

Our expectation through ‘INIAD Traffic’ :


 Students can learn more efficient, faster and easier, they can keep up with the most updated
research in the world right now.
 Students will get used to interact and solve the real world problems
 INIAD Toyo University will be regarded as a well-known university in a few years.
