ANNUAL INVESTMENT PLAN 2018:

CONSUMER WELFARE OFFICE:

Mission: to inform, protect, promote consumer welfare and to provide a mechanism


for the speedy resolution and redress of consumer complaints and grievances

Vision: A well-informed and protected citizenry of Parañaque on their rights and


responsibilities

Proposed Projects:
1.) Conduct price and price tag monitoring of prime and basic commodities in
various malls and supermarkets

2.) Conduct price, price tag labels and markings of poultry, marine, meat/pork,
vegetable products of various wet markets including operation of uncalibrated
weighing scales

3.) Conduct information dissemination/education campaign in the 16 barangays


regarding consumer rights

4.) Conduct seminar for the Brgy. Lupon tagapamayapa and TFBP task force Bantay
Presyo on the issues or concerns of consumers which will be facilitated by DTI,
BFAD, DOE and Maynilad

5.) Diskuwento Caravan for students and for Consumer Month

6.) Conduct medication between consumer complaints and respondent

HRMO:
Mission: The Human Resources Management Office reform imperatives to the City
government of Parañaque.
