Citizenship Workshop
“To build an Active Citizen for a sustainable society development”

Dear Grantees,

As a part of our programme to build the capacity of VDMI grantees, again we

open the application for those who will join our next workshop programme.

The programme will be held in West Java attended by 20 selected students

start on the 17th of September up to the 23th of September 2018.

The main subject of the program will be an understanding and creating on

how to develop a society. Core competence of this program will be worked
out and discovered by the participants, which will be supported by
facilitators. All participants will learn the idea of sustainability, and also will
learn how to be an active citizen who creates sustainable affects to the
community, to be active, proactive, creative, and critical. Thus the participants
are expected to learn how to manage it. All competences are in the academic
purpose; to broaden the perspective is on the surrounding environment. As a
series of application and selection process, the participants are required to fill
in and write down several questions along with this invitation that sent by
email.

You are required to fill in the attached questions and essay assignment,
then send it back to us (VDMI) at the latest on the 30th of August 2018. You
will be able to work on it at any time of the day.

The Van Deventer Citizenship Workshop consists of 3 (three steps):

[1] Fill in or answer the questions as attached (attachment 1)
[2] Motivation Letter about “why you want to join this Workshop? What is
your expectation after the workshop (prefer in English).
[3] An essay about “SOCIAL ACTION PLANNING” Do you have a plan for
Social Action? How will you deliver it? (Please describe your plan at least 500
words, half page, prefer in English)
