ACTIVITIES : i PRE LESSON : 1. Pupils play a word games to review the family
words.
2. Pupils will read the word together.

ii LESSON DEVELOPMENT 1. Pupils paste their family photo the “Family Tree”
(provided).
2. Pupils write down their family members name on it.
3. Brainstorm ideas about their family.
4. Teacher introduces about ‘My family’. Teacher
shows the text. Pupils read together.
5. Pupils then complete their family info in the card
given using cursive writing (weaker pupils – 3 info’s,
good – 5 info’s). (DS/FA)
6. Teacher guides the pupils.
7. Pupils print and describe their family members to
their partner

iii POST LESSON : 1. Pupils have to complete the text using their own
family info’s.
2. Pupils write sentence in neat cursive writing about
their family members.
3. Pupils use their own word to describe their family
members.
