Hardware
The Gravity X is a Smart Industry Camera running on Android.
It can install applications from Google Play store, and allow you
to use apps like Skype for Business in addition to using its camera.
You will however not be able to conduct a hands free video call.

The Orbit X is also a stand alone camera, and can be used to take
snapshots, record video and conduct a live video stream via
Wifi network and internet connection. It gives you a hands free
option.
Do you need Gravity X, Orbit X or both?
The Orbit X and Gravity X can be utilized separately or together.
Using the devices together gives you a better user-experience.
The Orbit X can connect to the Gravity X via bluetooth and wifi via a
Custom app. This allows you to remotely control and setup you
Orbit X via Gravity X.

The Orbit X could also be setup via a non-ex Android device or via
Collaboration X. Collaboration X is a online system where you can
adjust different settings for your devices and deploy them to the
devices via wifi. The user will however not have any options to
make setup changes or troubleshoot in the Zone without
an EX Android device like the Gravity X.
Internet/WiFi
1. We recommend 1mbps when calling. Less is also possible,
but video resolution and FPS must be reduced to transfer video.
It is possible to test and see what is acceptable for you compared to
available committed bandwidth. Example: A skype call requires min.
512 kbps up/down speed to conduct a call.

1. Committed down/upload speed: recommend 1mbps 2. Setup WiFi network to prioritize these calls, so that other devices
2. Dedicated bandwidth for calls (priority on network) do not “steal” bandwidth.
3. Network settings customized for optimal use (PIXAVI can
assist) 3. Network settings can effect the quality of the call and thus
4. Good WiFi coverage with Access Points that have stable the user experience. PIXAVI engineers can and should assist on setup.
roaming
4. Access points must have good roaming functionality. If not
5. ”Backbone” if you plan to place calls worldwide
calls can be interrupted when moving between two access
points.

5. If you place a call from USA, to an expert in

Singapore, you need to transfer the video data via a fiber cable across
the globe. The call will have a slight delay in reaching the other side.
To reduce delay it is important to secure some bandwidth across the
globe by purchasing dedicated bandwidth (“backbone”) via f.ex MSN.
It could also be smart to set up 3 regional SIP servers as well in case
sites are located across the globe (America, Europe, Asia).
Virtual Meeting Room
There are several Virtual Meeting Room solutions on the market.
If you wish to call via Skype for Business we however recommend
using a system using Acano technology.

Cisco recently purchased Acano, and will implement it in its

Webex systems soon.

ATEA Anywhere is a strong alternative. It is developed by ATEA,

Together with Cisco. And supports several systems like Skype, Lync,
Webex, Jabber, Polycom ++

Each device will receive a personal meeting room, and depending on

the subscription, a certain amount of people can call in.
We recommend max 5 callers, which is also the most reasonable
solution.

If you are already using a Video Conferencing system, please

inform us which system, and we will check the compatibility
and advice accordingly.
