You are the English specialist at a small school. In one class,
YEAR 1 and YEAR 2 students have been combined. You have 7
students in each group.
How will you go about managing your English classes? Take into
account the following variables:
-The students are seated in a horseshoe arrangement.
-There are six extra tables with some chairs grouped together on
one side of the classroom.
-Students have textbooks which focus on the extensive use of oral
communication.
-Activities in the Activity Book are short and require teacher
supervision. However, some can be completed autonomously in the
space of five minutes.
-There are two chalk boards on opposite sides of the classroom.
-You have a computer and digital board which both work well and
you have a good internet connection.
-In terms of evaluation, 45% of the final mark should be for oral and
written tests; 45% is based on observation (classwork, homework,
notebooks, and so on) and 10% is for attitude (respect, discipline,
and so on)
