AFFIDAVIT OF WITNESS
I, PONCIANA SOLIANO, Filipino citizen, of legal age, married, and a
resident of Datag, Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, after having been duly
sworn to in accordance with law hereby depose and say:

1. That I was formerly the Barangay Treasurer for Barangay Maribago,

Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, during the term of Barangay Captain Joseph
Pangatungan for the years __________ until _____________;

2. That I was aware of the Memorandum of Agreement entered into by

Barangay Maribago with Maribago Seaview Pension dated January
12, 2012;

3. That there was never any bad faith or malice on the part of the Brgy.
Council in entering into an agreement with Maribago Seaview Pension
for their decision was made in good faith and for the sole benefit of
the public;

4. That there were no barangay/public funds taken out or utilized for

the proposed construction project to be initiated by the private entity
Maribago Seaview Pension;

5. That former Councilor Rodrigo D. Taghoy was never an accountable

officer of any barangay funds and he has no participation whatsoever
in any disbursements nor is a signatory in any documents involving
releases of barangay funds;

6. That I execute this affidavit in order to attest to the veracity of the

foregoing facts and for whatever legal purpose it may serve best.
